ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Another new Malaysian airline has announced launching its flight operations for Pakistan, Dunya News reported here on Thursday.
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted permission to airasia for flight operations.
Airasia is starting flights for Karachi from May 30. Initially, the company will operate four weekly flights between Karachi and Kuala Lumpur.
The company marks a new milestone in the airline's international network expansion. The arrival of a new foreign airline will create new jobs in Pakistan. It is operating flights on a total of 22 routes.
This is Malaysia's only low-cost airline with direct service to Karachi. Aviation experts say the new route will increase cheap connectivity between the two countries.
