QUETTA (Dunya News) – The federal government’s plan to transfer 29,000 agriculture tubewells to solar system in Balochistan could not be executed despite the lapse of three months. 

Prime Minister had given a three-month deadline to complete the project, but it could be completed despite the passage of the deadline.

According to the officials of Ministry of Energy, the plan to transfer 29,000 agriculture tubewells to solar in Balochistan could not be implemented.

Not a single agriculture tubewell could be transferred to solar in the province, confirmed the owners of the tubewells.

According to the officials of Ministry of Energy, the amount of the federal government's share has not been received by the provincial government.

According to the plan, the federal government will give Rs38 billion for the project, whereas the Balochistan government has to pay Rs16 billion for the completion of the project.
