Increase will not apply to lifeline customers, Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) issued a notification announcing an increase in electricity rates for K-Electric consumers.
According to Nepra's notification, the electricity price for Karachi has been increased by Rs10.1 per unit due to monthly fuel adjustments.

The notification details that in June, an additional Rs2.68 per unit will be charged; in July, Rs3.11 per unit; in August, Rs 3.22 per unit; and in September, Re 1 per unit will be charged.
Nepra's notification also states that the increase will not apply to K-Electric's Lifeline customers and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
