KE committed to enhancing generation capacity through renewable resources: spox
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The K-Electric has been actively working to implement the points raised by the Nepra in its report, according to the power utility’s spokesperson.
Clarifying its position regarding the Nepra report, the K-Electric underscored its commitment to enhancing its generation capacity through renewable and local resources under its investment plan for 2024-2030.
The spox said the K-Electric prioritised power generation using cheap and efficient sources under its Economic Merit Order.
As per the seven-year investment plan, approximately 2,172 megawatts of electricity would be added through renewable and local resources, the spokesperson concluded.
