Dollar continues to shed value against rupee

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The price of the American dollar continues to decrease against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market.

On the second day of the business week on Tuesday, the value of the dollar continued shedding and became cheaper by Rs1.27. The dollar closed at

Rs299.89 paise at the end of the interbank trade from Rs300.

It is pertinent to mention that at the beginning of the business week yesterday, the dollar closed at Rs301.16 by Rs1.79 in the interbank market.

On the other hand, the value of the dollar is depreciating continually in the open market and the greenback is being sold at Rs299.

In the open market, the British pound is being sold at Rs370, Euro Rs316, Saudi riyal Rs79 and UAE dirham Rs82.
