Dar goes ballistic over question about IMF
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday responded with fury and indignation over question about outcome of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF)
After attending the budget session, the incident happened while the finance minister was leaving the National Assembly (NA). As the journalist questioned the causes of the "repeated failures" to come to a successful agreement with the major lender, the situation turned hostile.
The finance czar answered sharply, "Because people like you are in the system."
