Request submitted to Nepra for increase in cost of electricity
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has submitted a request to NEPRA to raise the price of electricity under the March fuel price adjustment.
A request to raise the price of electricity by Rs 1.17 per unit for discos consumers has been submitted to Nepra. Central Power Purchasing Agency's request will be discussed by Nepra on May 3.
On the other hand, K-Electric has already submitted a request for fuel price adjustment. K-Electric has requested to increase the price of electricity by Rs 4.49 per unit, Nepra will also hear the request of K-Electric on May 3.
