DHAKA (Dunya News) - Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field in the second One-day International (ODI) against Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here on Friday.

The hosts currently lead the three-match series 1–0 after securing an eight-wicket victory in the opening match.

Pakistan had set a weak target of 115 runs, which Bangladesh chased comfortably. The home side achieved the target on the first ball of the 16th over.

For Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf was the top scorer with 37 runs, followed by Sahibzada Farhan who made 27 runs, while Moaz Sadaqat contributed 18 runs.

Bangladesh’s Tanzid Hasan played an impressive unbeaten knock of 67 runs to guide his team to victory. Najmul Hossain Shanto also added 27 runs to the total.

From Pakistan’s bowling side, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr. claimed one wicket each.

Pakistan will now look to bounce back in the second ODI and level the series.
