ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Afghan Taliban launched ground attacks at 16 locations in northern Balochistan, including Qila Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman districts, while carrying out fire raids at 25 other sites targeting Pakistani forces.

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that all Taliban attacks were effectively repelled under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, resulting in the deaths of 27 Taliban militants and injuries to several others.

In the defense of the motherland, one soldier of the FC Balochistan North was martyred, and five others sustained injuries during the confrontations.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Taliban attempted a ground assault at one location and carried out fire raids at 12 points, all of which were thwarted without any casualties.

During overnight operations, 40 Afghan Taliban fighters were killed in the province.

Minister Tarar confirmed that follow-up operations remain ongoing.

Security sources reported that in response to Taliban aggression, Pakistani forces have conducted effective and destructive counterattacks.

The Pakistan Air Force carried out airstrikes in Jalalabad, destroying ammunition depots and drone storage, inflicting heavy losses on Afghan Taliban and extremist factions.

Pakistani forces successfully targeted the Khogani base in Nangarhar province during air operations in Afghanistan.

So far, during Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, 435 militants have been killed, 630 wounded, and Taliban have lost 188 checkpoints completely, while Pakistani forces captured 31 enemy posts.

Additionally, 188 tanks and armored vehicles of the Taliban were destroyed, and effective airstrikes were carried out at 51 different locations across Afghanistan.

The operation highlights Pakistan’s sustained commitment to neutralizing Taliban aggression and securing national borders against militant threats.
