Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz says Rajanpur and Kacha areas cleared of criminals. Over 500 bandits surrendered, law restored with army and police support; no casualties occurred.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that the Rajanpur and Kacha regions have been 100% cleared of criminals following a decisive operation.
Addressing a meeting on the operation, she said that the criminals had effectively created 'a state within the state' spreading fear and abducting people using honey-trap tactics.
Maryam Nawaz stated that despite warnings of difficulty, the operation was conducted successfully in Kacha areas of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur with the support of the Pakistan Army, police, and other law enforcement agencies.
Advanced technology, including drone cameras and human surveillance, was used to track every criminal’s movement.

The CM thanked Sindh Police and the Sindh government for their cooperation during the operation.
She confirmed that the operation restored government authority, no casualties occurred, and the areas are now under full law enforcement control.
