Identification process for Gul Plaza martyrs begins

Police Surgeon Dr Sammiya stated that the formal identification process has now begun. So far, samples from six bodies have been collected, along with samples from more than 30 heirs of the victims.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The process of identifying those martyred in the Gul Plaza tragedy has begun, Dunya News reported on Monday.
DNA profiling has been initiated at the Karachi Medico-legal Center to identify the bodies while blood samples are being collected for this purpose.
According to Police Surgeon Dr Sammiya, samples for DNA testing have been sealed and handed over into safe custody. The identification of the bodies will be carried out through DNA cross-matching.
