Sindh CM highlights children's rights on World Children's Day

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that children are our future, and protecting their rights is a top priority for his government. In connection with World Children’s Day, the Chief Minister visited Sea View to express solidarity with children, where Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Tariq Ali Talpur and Secretary Agha Sohail received him.

The Chief Minister led the World Children’s Day awareness walk, which aimed to promote awareness about children’s rights, safety, and welfare. On this occasion, he mingled with the children.

Murad Ali Shah said that children are our future, and safeguarding their rights is the government’s foremost priority. “We want to build a society where every child is safe, satisfied, and empowered,” he stated.

He added that the world is beautiful because of children, and their love and upbringing enhance this beauty. The Social Welfare Department is already conducting various activities to raise awareness about children’s rights. Citizens participating in the walk appreciated the Sindh government’s efforts for child welfare.

The Chief Minister said that collective efforts are needed to promote positive social attitudes that ensure a safe environment for children. He added that today’s walk is a joint effort to amplify children’s voices.
