ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad Bar Council on Tuesday strongly condemned the suicide attack outside the Judicial Complex and announced a three-day strike.

According to the statement, the Islamabad Bar Council expressed deep sorrow over the terrorist attack on the District Courts Complex, saying several innocent citizens, including lawyers, lost their precious lives in the attack.

The Bar Council strongly condemned the cowardly act of terrorism targeting a judicial institution and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs.

The statement further said that in protest against this brutal act, a complete strike will be observed in all courts of Islamabad from November 12 to 14.

A joint meeting of the Islamabad Bar Council and subordinate bar associations will be convened to decide the future course of action

The Islamabad Bar Council has also demanded a transparent and comprehensive investigation into the tragic incident. The Bar Council also emphasized that effective measures should be taken to enhance security in all courts across Islamabad.
