Investigations reveal Afghan involvement and Indian-sponsored group’s backing in Islamabad suicide blast, with threatening Taliban-linked social media posts surfacing hours before the attack.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Sources have revealed that Afghanistan’s involvement has been exposed in the recent suicide bombing in the federal capital, allegedly backed by Indian-sponsored militant group Fitna al-Khawarij.
According to sources, the blast occurred around 12:45 PM in Islamabad, but suspicious activity had already surfaced on Afghan social media accounts early in the morning. At 6:45 AM, an X (formerly Twitter) account linked to the Afghan Taliban posted a warning message reading “Coming soon Islamabad.”
Similar threats had previously been issued during an Afghan military parade, where posts called for hoisting the Afghan flag in Lahore and setting Islamabad ablaze. The Afghan outlet Amaj News shared these threatening messages on November 2.
Another Taliban-linked account, Khorasan Al-Arabi, posted “Bismillah” immediately after the Islamabad explosion — a message described as reflecting the Afghan regime’s malicious intentions.
Sources further stated that the timing and nature of these social media posts clearly indicate the Afghan Taliban regime’s continued hostility towards Pakistan. The blasts in Islamabad and Delhi are being viewed as the result of coordinated efforts by anti-Pakistan regimes seeking to destabilize the country.
