Security forces killed 20 Indian-backed terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 8 and 9, according to the ISPR

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - The security forces eliminated 20 Indian-backed terrorists in two operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were carried out on November 8 and 9.

The first operation was carried out in the Shawal area of North Waziristan following reports of militant presence, during which eight India-backed militants were killed.

In a second operation in Darra Adam Khel, security forces eliminated 12 terrorists in heavy exchange of fire.

A clearance operation is underway in the area to neutralise any remaining threats.

The ISPR stated that security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue the counterterrorism campaign until the complete eradication of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.

Shehbaz Sharif, Mohsin Naqvi laud security forces

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the security forces for their successful operations in North Waziristan and Darra Adam Khel.

The prime minister said the security forces stand as a “solid wall” in defence of the nation, and the entire nation salutes their bravery and commitment to eradicating terrorism.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also commended the security forces for their successful operations against India-sponsored terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Praising their professionalism, Naqvi said the forces thwarted the militants’ nefarious designs through timely and effective action.

He added that the security forces have achieved remarkable successes in the fight against terrorism and remain determined to ensure lasting peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
