Agenda for first sitting of 34th Punjab Assembly session issued

LAHORE (Dunya News): The agenda for the first sitting of the 34th Punjab Assembly session, which will begin today (Monday), has been issued, Dunya News reported.

The session will start at 2:00PM at the Punjab Assembly building under the chairmanship of Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan.

As per the agenda, the School and Higher Education Department will respond to the questions raised by members. During the session, assembly members will present calling attention notices, discuss five pending adjournment motions, and present two ordinances.

Additionally, the Drugs Amendment Bill, 2025 and the Punjab Finance (Amendment) Bill, 2025 will be presented for approval. The Punjab Enforcement and Regulations (Amendment) Bill and the Punjab Locum Hiring Bill, 2025 will also be tabled during the session.

Moreover, the Punjab Control of Narcotic Substances (Amendment) Bill, 2025 will be approved, and other important matters raised by assembly members will be part of the agenda of the session.
