Punjab Police officer SP Aisha Butt honoured with global excellence award

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Police Superintendent of Police Aisha Butt has received the "Excellence in Performance Award 2025" from the International Association of Women Police (IAWP).
A spokesperson for Punjab Police said the award was presented to her during the 62nd IAWP Annual Training Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, to honour her “distinguished service and commitment to policing”.
The event was attended by over 300 female police officers from more than 40 countries** around the world.
The award was presented by IAWP President Julia Jäger, who praised SP Aisha Butt for her outstanding contribution to policing.
This award is given annually to only one woman police officer globally, in recognition of exceptional service to her community.
SP Butt is currently serving as the City Traffic Officer (CTO) of Gujranwala. She was honoured for her exemplary work in traffic safety policing, fostering public trust and engagement with the police, and her overall excellence in the line of duty.
The leadership and officers of Punjab Police congratulated SP Aisha Butt on receiving this global honour, calling it a proud moment for the entire force.
