Bahrain's interior minister arrives in Islamabad for three-days official visit

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Bahrain’s Interior Minister, Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, arrived in Islamabad on a three-day visit at the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Mohsin Naqvi.

State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry welcomed the Bahraini Interior Minister upon his arrival in Islamabad. Lieutenant General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa also visited the Pakistan Monument.

A contingent of the Islamabad Police presented a guard of honour to the guest who later visited the Martyrs’ Monument, laid flowers, and offered prayers.

During his visit, the Bahrain interior minister would hold meetings with Pakistan’s top leadership.

The purpose of the visit is to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the areas of human trafficking, counter-narcotics, security, and counter-terrorism.
