CM Gandapur launches the Digital Disaster Compensation Management System
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Monday launched a digital application to facilitate the online payment of compensation to flood victims.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur officially launched the Digital Disaster Compensation Management System, an app developed on an urgent basis by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB).
The newly introduced system has been integrated with the province’s central service delivery app, “Dastak.”
Through this app, flood victims will now receive direct and transparent compensation payments online for damaged properties.
The system enables affected individuals to upload details of property damage themselves and file claims for compensation.

The app operates on a fully automated and transparent mechanism while ensuring timely disbursement of funds.
CM Gandapur was informed that the use of geo-tagging technology will prevent the submission of false claims, and verification of losses and payments will be carried out through an automated system.

Officials explained that the compensation process is completely paperless and cashless, and full details of claims and disbursements will be available on dashboards accessible to the chief minister, chief secretary, and other relevant authorities.
Calling the digital payment system a significant initiative, CM Gandapur praised the development team for completing the project in record time.
“This system not only ensures prompt compensation for flood victims but also guarantees transparency at every stage,” the chief minister said.
