President Zardari leaves for China on five-day visit

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Asif Ali Zardari left for China on a five-day visit.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, and Dr Asim Hussain are accompanying the president.
In Beijing, Asif Ali Zardari will meet high-level political leadership of China, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.
President's visit to China is important in further strengthening bilateral relations.
It will play an important role in enhancing bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
During the meetings, discussions will take place on key bilateral issues, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, regional connectivity, and security cooperation.
As part of his visit, President Zardari will attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, on the special invitation of the Chinese government.
This visit underscores the tradition of high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China, reflecting the strong strategic partnership between the two nations.
