Army cadet martyred in terrorist attack on Lakki Marwat mosque

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A cadet of Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, was martyred after terrorists attacked a mosque in Lakki Marwat during Maghbrib prayers on Friday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said the cadet Arifullah, who was under training at PMA Kakul, was on leave at his hometown, adding that he was present in the mosque for prayers when the attack was launched.
As soon as terrorists started firing, immediately responded and fought them bravely. However, during the incident, the 19-year-old cadet embraced martyrdom sacrificing his life, while saving many innocent lives of worshippers.
Such heinous and cowardly act of attacking worshippers in the mosque while praying reflects the true ideology of these militants.
“Valiant act of a young Gentleman Cadet is a testament of spirit of sacrifice and dedication of Security Forces’ personnel to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices further strengthen our resolve,” read the ISPR statement.
