One killed, two injured in road accident in Nankana Sahib

NANKANA SAHIB (Dunya News) – One person was killed and two other sustained injuries in a road accident, caused by over-speeding, in Nankana Sahib on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details the accident occurred at the Shah Kot Road near Chak No-5 where a motorcycle collided with a rickshaw, killing a man on the spot and critically injuring two others.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead and injured to hospital.
Road accidents are quite common in Pakistan, making it one of the hazardous countries. Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
