Fazl assures Bilawal of voting in favour of constitutional amendment

Bilawal says PTI has not presented a single suggestion regarding amendment so far
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman has a telephone conversation, during which Maulana assured Bilawal of his support for the constitutional amendment, stating that their assembly members have arrived and that he will also be reaching the assembly shortly.
Speaking informally to journalists upon his arrival at the Parliament House, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated everyone on the 26th constitutional amendment, stating that the act would be implemented immediately and no controversial point remains in the amendment.
He added that both he and Maulana tried to recognise PTI as a political party and engage them as such. Maulana has been in talks with them for two months, and now there seems to be no point left in PTI's objections.
Bilawal mentioned that PTI had agreed with Maulana to meet in the morning, but after his and Maulana's press conference, PTI's reaction was unfortunate.
He further said that PTI has not presented a single suggestion regarding the amendment so far, but he hopes they will meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman today. He requested them to support the amendment.
The PPP chairman stated that whether PTI supports them or not, their goal is to pass the amendment. He added that no one can accuse him of rushing things, and today this task will be completed. His utmost effort was to get the bill passed with consensus in collaboration with Maulana.
He also mentioned that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah himself spoke about seniority and merit.
