Punjab announces public holiday in educational institutions

Earlier, the Punjab government imposed Section 144 across the province.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab government on Thursday announced that all educational institutions in the province will remain closed on Oct 18 (Friday).
According to the notification, all public and private institutions will be closed on Friday. The holiday will apply to all government and private schools and colleges, and universities across the province.
Earlier, the Punjab government imposed Section 144 across the province.
The Punjab Home Department issued a notification for the enforcement of Section 144 throughout the province.
