Hafiz Naeem says Pakistan should highlight Gaza issue in all-important SCO moot
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said the Shanghai Cooperation Organization carries a significant opportunity for the country to showcase its soft image.
He said the issue of Gaza should also be discussed in the SCO moot.
He mentioned that only the Indian delegation would not talk about the Gaza situation and in so doing, they would isolate themselves as the Palestinian issue has become a burning issue requiring immediate solution.
Talking about the ‘Haq Do Tehreek‘, he said the government has given the time of 45 days to accept the demands of JI. He added due to the pressure of the JI protests, the government reduced the electricity price by Rs14.
The JI chief also stressed that “the stance of JI on the constitutional amendment package is clear from the day one as which is they should be discussed once the new chief justice takes oath.”
