LAHORE (Dunya News) - Around 10 driving schools in various locations of Lahore have been established.
This great initiative is taken on the direction of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz make men and women financially independent and empowered.
The driving schools have been established in Greater Iqbal Park, Township, Police Khidmat Bahria Town, Liberty Khidmat Markaz, Manawan Traffic Lines, Defence Khidmat Markaz and Kahna.
Women On Wheel Driving School LOS Ferozpur Road and Shadman Jail Road Lahore (Aabshar Driving School) are only assigned for women.
CTO Ammar Athar stated that women to women service was being provided to women in driving schools.
Comprehensive training on electrical and mechanical work would be given in the driving course.
Scooty training is also being provided in universities and colleges under ‘Ride for Change’ initiative.
