ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) The petition of recounting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate, from NA-97 Tandlianwala Ali Gohar Baloch, is scheduled to be heard in Supreme Court (SC).
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa will hear the petition filed by Ali Gohar Baloch on Sept 23.
Earlier on Aug 21, the SC had rejected his appeal against the verdict of the High Court.
According to earlier verdict, Ali Gohar Baloch was unable to prove that he applied for a recount before the compilation of results.
Besides, Ali Gohar Baloch had filed a review petition on the SC verdict which rejected his appeal against the verdict of High Court.
