ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have challenged the accountability court's decision to reject their acquittal plea in the £190 million corruption case in the Islamabad High Court.

Barristers Salman Safdar and Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry filed the petition, arguing that the accountability court's decision on September 12 was not based on merit.

They claimed that there was no evidence or material warranting a conviction.

The petition requested that the court annul the accountability court's decision and acquit Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi from the case.
