Two children drown in Chenab river near Multan

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Two children drowned while bathing in the Chenab river near Multan on Tuesday evening, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the incident occurred in Head Sikandri drain near Multan where the children were bathing in the river and they mistakenly entered deep water and drowned.
Rescue teams rushed to the area after being informed and launched the search operation. However, the search operation was suspended due to darkness.
Rescue teams restarted the operation on Wednesday morning.
The children were identified as 11-year-old Sabir and nine-year-old Rizwan.
