Residents stage protest against loadshedding in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Residents of Lines Area in Karachi staged a protest against an eight-hour long unscheduled loadshedding on Friday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the locality of Lines Area was without electricity for the past eight hours. The residents have repeatedly requested the K-Electric authorities to resolve the issue. Getting no positive response from K-Electric officials, the residents staged a protest.
Angry protesters blocked the several roads in the city by burning tyres. Angry mob also raised slogans against the K-Electric officials and demanded restoration of electricity. Police also reached the spot to bring the situation under control.
