Three-year-old child dies from snake bite in Okara due to vaccine shortage
OKARA (Dunya News) – A tragic incident unfolded in Okara on Tuesday as a three-year-old child fell victim to a fatal snake bite.
According to details, Ihtesham, a resident of a village in Okara, was playing when he was bitten by a snake.
The child was immediately transferred to a nearby hospital, but due to the unavailability of snake bite vaccine in the hospital, he succumbed to the venomous bite.
The body was handed over to the heirs after medico-legal procedures.
