GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that corruption was minimal in their government. 

Addressing a public rally in Gujranwala, he said a government started construction of a hospital in Wazirabad and "we completed it and built a heart disease centre." 

Instead of carrying forward, the previous government brutally terminated every project of Nawaz Sharif, he deplored. He said the PKLI in Lahore was the famous hospital of the world which was built at a cost of Rs20 billion.  

The PML-N said the road between Sheikhupura and Gujranwala was built by Nawaz Sharif. Later, out of conspiracy, Nawaz Sharif's government was overthrown. The next government didn't lay a brick in four years.

"During the period of Nawaz Sharif, development and prosperity were visible throughout Pakistan," Shehbaz said, adding the PML-N government cracked down on corruption.

Moreover, Nawaz Sharif gave laptops to thousands of students. "We established the Gujranwala Medical College and a university in Gujrat," he said. 

He said the youth were the greatest asset of the nation. "If Allah gives Nawaz Sharif another chance, he will distribute laptops."

He also announced construction of Arfa Karim Tower and the orange line train in Gujranwala.
