PMD forecasts dry weather in most parts of the country

A shallow westerly trough is present over the northern parts of the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.
However, partly cloudy weather with light rain (light snowfall over high mountains) is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
As per the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly trough is present over the northern parts of the country.
During the last 24 hours, partly cloudy weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while cold in upper areas. The lowest minimum temperatures was recorded in Leh where mercury fell to -03°C.
