One killed, eight injured in cracker explosion in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A woman was killed and eight persons, including children were wounded in a cracker blast in Bihar Colony area of Malir in Karachi on Monday night, Dunya News reported.
According to police, two unidentified persons riding on a motorcycle threw a cracker in Bihar Colony which resulted in death of a woman while eight other persons got wounded. The attackers managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has taken notice of the cracker attack and sought report from the concerned authorities.
