Two killed in road mishap in Toba Tek Singh

TOBA TEK SINGH (Dunya News) – At least two people lost their lives when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a pick-up in Toba Tek Singh on Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details the accident occurred near Rajana Lasori area of Toba Tek Singh where a rashly driven pick-up hit a motorcycle from behind, kill two youth on the spot. The deceased were identified as Ans and Muhammad Bilal.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to hospital. According to police, the driver of the pick-up managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
Road accidents are quite common in Pakistan, making it one of the hazardous countries. Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
