CM Naqvi launches cleanliness drive in Punjab villages
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday launched ‘Ab Gaon Chamkenge programme’ from village Qila Sharif of Sharqpur in Lahore district.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said under this programme, modern machinery will be provided at Union Council level besides providing city-style cleaning staff and other facilities at village level.
CM Naqvi said under the programme, facilities of computerised birth certificates, death certificates and marriage certificates will also be available in villages as well as cities.
He said village committees consisting of local people will be formed to make the programme successful.
