Housing project for Sindh flood victims initiated
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon Tuesday said the process of provision of houses to the flood victims was kick started.
While talking to the media in Karachi, Sharjeel said that it had started raining again all over Sindh and the Sindh government was active in every district including Karachi and the dewatering work was going on.
He said the victims were being provided with the ownership rights of the houses.
“More passenger buses have arrived for Karachi and we will finalize the new routes by evening. We are going to add some new routes of EV bus service while small dams are ready by the Sindh government,” he said, adding, some people were playing politics in Pakistan.
“The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is the only party which is not playing politics. We are giving the flood victims their legitimate rights,” he said.
Sharjeel Memon added further in the past, someone else had claimed that he would give five million houses and crores of jobs.
He said houses were being provided on the basis of transparent merit.
The provincial minister said that if they succeeded in forming federal government, they will build more in every province.
“The PPP understands the problems of the people. Making conspiracies against the country in the world is not a solution to the country’s problems. In 2018, the government was given to PTI Chairman by fraud.
