MQM-P nominates Raena Ansar as Sindh opposition leader

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan senior leader Farooq Sattar said on Friday that the party had nominated Raena Ansar as the opposition leader in Sindh assembly.

Speaking to the media after the assembly session, Mr Sattar said democracy could not move forward without the opposition mentioning the party hoped to represent urban and rural Sindh.

Farooq Sattar said that the application for the nominated opposition leader of MQM had been submitted with the signatures of 20 MQM members present on the application.

He said that the PPP did not fulfill the promises it had made as the population was deliberately reduced in the census.

Mr Sattar said K-IV project had been pending for 15 years and polarization in rural and urban areas must be reduced adding Ms Ansar must be trusted as caretaker chief minister.
