Abbasi vows to stablise economy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Friday praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for sealing a $3billion staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
"Those who wanted to see the country getting into default will be disappointed," he schooled at the political opponents.
Abbasi continued, "The government was making every effort to stabilise the economy".

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said the deal had been sealed despite all the fears, for which, PM Shehbaz Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and all the other team members deserved credit.

PM Shehbaz said that the staff-level agreement with the international lender will help strengthen the country's foreign exchange reserves and enable the country to achieve economic stability.
