FIA again summons Asad Umar for investigation in funding case

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has again summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Asad Umar for investigation in the prohibited funding case.
The summons notice was received by PTI’s assistant finance manager Naveed Aslam at the party office, said the FIA officials.
The former planning minister has been directed to appear before the joint investigation team to record his statement on April 27 as he failed to show up on April 14. The PTI stalwart had also submitted a written reply in the case.
Sources said the FIA had summoned him again after finding his reply unsatisfactory.
