KARACHI (Dunya News) - Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Mustafa Kamal has said that no single party can solve Pakistan s problems as key issues consequential to Pakistan’s future are in urgent need of national consensus.
Addressing a press conference along with Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori in the wee hours of Friday in Karachi, Mustafa Kamal said political stability in the country, on which economic revival depends, requires consensus between all stakeholders.
He urged all political leaders to rise above partisan interests and consider evolving agreement on core issues as the country was facing a number of challenges including economic crisis, terrorism, energy crisis and no single party can tackle these on its own.
Mustafa Kamal said that only Karachi which is considered as the economic hub of Pakistan can drag the country out of these problems. He said his party held no direct or secrete talks with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
Earlier, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, who is playing a crucial role to unify MQM factions, arrived at the Pakistan House to meet PSP leadership. He was warmly welcomed on his arrival at the Pakistan House.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamran Tessori said that everyone has agreed to work together to solve the problems of Karachi. He said that we have to work together for the uplift of our city.
