Police arrests three suspects of Zakaria Express rape incident

LAHORE (Dunya News) – IG Railways Faisal Shahkar on Tuesday said that police has arrested three suspects who allegedly raped a woman on Zakaria Express. Their DNA has been taken for the lab test.
While talking in a press conference, IG Railways said that 2 of the suspects had switched off their mobile phones as they hid themselves after the investigation had started. Capturing these suspects was a challenge and now cases have been registered against them.
According to the sources privy to the matter, the incident took place 4 days ago as the woman was travelling from Karachi to meet her children who live with her ex-husband in Multan.
The incident happened in the private train between the stations of Rohri and Hyderabad while the ticket checkers allegedly raped the woman on train.
