LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dengue situation in Punjab, including Lahore, is becoming worrisome as 24 new confirmed cases were reported across the province in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Department, Lahore recorded four new cases, bringing the city’s total confirmed dengue patients to 749. Across Punjab, the total number of confirmed dengue cases has now reached 4,093.

Authorities have also noted a sharp rise in suspected dengue cases in Lahore, raising concerns about a possible surge in infections in the coming weeks.

The Health Department has urged citizens to follow strict preventive measures. People are advised to avoid stagnant water, keep homes, offices, and streets clean, and take all necessary precautions to curb the spread of the disease.
