(Wep Desk) - Rapper Talha Anjum is facing intense backlash after raising the Indian flag during a recent concert in Nepal.

During the show, Anjum lifted the Indian flag while fellow rapper Talha Yunus proudly held the Nepali flag beside him.

Fans captured the moment on their phones, quickly posting videos online that sparked criticism from viewers.

According to a media report, the duo said their aim was to promote unity and express appreciation for diverse listeners.

Many Pakistani users, however, argued the move felt insensitive given the fragile relationship between Pakistan and India today.

Several supporters defended the rapper, claiming artists should have freedom to encourage peace without fear of public outrage.

Critics were especially harsh, accusing Talha Anjum of insultingly favouring India and prioritising popularity over national loyalty.

One user wrote: “He is Indian at heart, send him to India, deport him and boycott him.”

Another commented: “Modi should invite him to India for a concert after all these efforts he keeps making.”

One said: “No Indian singer would ever wave the Pakistani flag, does he understand how disrespect works there?”

Another stated: “Be loyal to your country because representing others this way will never make you honourable.”
