(Web Desk) - Veteran actor Firdous Jamal is embroiled in controversy for his bold statements about different celebrities, but now he is experiencing hard times for his illness and family disputes.
Recently, the actor’s son in a clip said his mother has moved a court for divorce, the news firmly refuted by Firdous Jamal.
He addressed circulating rumors about a supposed divorce from his wife, strongly denying the claims.
In a new interview shared widely online, Jamal refuted these rumors, stating, “These claims are baseless. My wife has not sought ‘khula’; it’s all just hearsay.”
He went on to stress the importance of family and peace at this stage in his life, adding, “At my age, I cherish tranquility. My children are grown, and I’m a grandfather—divorce isn’t something I’m considering now.”
Jamal clarified that, despite living separately to maintain personal peace, he remains close to his sons, who understand his choice.
This decision aligns with his earlier remarks on seeking a quieter life since being diagnosed with cancer, having expressed a desire for solitude after years in the limelight.
Known for his expansive career across TV and film, Firdous Jamal continues to be celebrated as one of Pakistan’s most distinguished actors.
