(Web Desk) - Renowned Punjabi film villain Shafqat Cheema has dismissed the circulating news about his father going into a coma.
His son Sheheryar Cheema, who also happens to be Pakistani actor, has clarified that veteran actor Shafqat Cheema is not in a coma as reported by many news outlets.
The uncertainty spread after rumours that the famous villain from Lollywood had suffered a stroke and turned unconscious.
His son confirmed that his father only experienced pneumonia. “Alhamdulillah, he is feeling well and is home now,” he stated in an interview with local magazine.
A video featuring Sheheryar also rejected the 'fake news' surrounding his father's condition.
Sheheryar said his father Shafqat was briefly hospitalised at Lahore’s Shalimar Hospital but has since been discharged.
