MUMBAI (Web Desk) - As Hollywood celebrities took to the red carpet at the 2023 Met Gala, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes pictures from the Academy Awards earlier this year. The actress represented India at the Oscars and introduced the Oscar-winning song "Natu Natu" before its live performance.
In the pictures, Padukone can be seen reading her speech backstage before taking over the stage. She captioned the post, "And the rest is history... #oscars @theacademy."
Fans speculated that the actress may have felt left out as she did not attend the Met Gala this year, leading to her sharing the Oscars BTS photos. One user commented, "This post feels like FOMO as you didn't make it to the Met. Bad timing."
Despite missing out on the Met Gala, Padukone is keeping busy with her upcoming projects. She is currently shooting for "Project K" with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas and will be seen in the Indian adaptation of the American film "The Intern" alongside Bachchan.
