Punjab boards announce intermediate part 1 results

The passing ratio stood 50 percent on average across the province
LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Punjab education boards on Tuesday announced the annual examination results for Intermediate Part 1 across the province.
Lahore Board Secretary Rizwan Nazeer and Controller Examination Muhammad Zahid Mian announced the result for the Lahore Board.
LAHORE
162,000 candidates appeared in the exams out of which 84,785 students passed.
The success ratio was 52 percent, according to the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
GUJRANWALA
Meanwhile, the Gujranwala BISE announced a total of 131,397 students took part in the Inter Part I exams. Of these, 68,071 candidates passed with a success rate of 51 percent, according to Chairman Naveed Haider Shirazi.
SAHIWAL
Similarly, the Sahiwal BISE also published its results. 39,855 students took part in the exams.
20,323 passed with the overall success rate standing at 51 percent, as confirmed by the board’s chairman.
FAISALABAD
98,834 candidates gave the Intermediate Part 1 exams. 63,806 students aced the exam. The passing ratio was 64.56 percent.
MULTAN
According to the Multan BISE, 68,674 students took the exam. 37,814 candidates passed with the success ratio as 55 percent.
