SHAKARPUR (Dunya News) – An SHO was martyred in firing by suspected robbers on Sukkur Road, National Highways, Dunya News reported here on Thursday night.
The martyred SHO has been identified as Ghulam Shah. According to police, the SHO and his team received a call that seven robbers were looting passengers after blocking the Sukkur Road.
A police team led by the SHO scrambled to the crime scene. To see the police approaching them, the bandits opened fire, leaving the SHO injured in a critical condition. He was rushed to a private hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The robbers fled the scene. Police launched a manhunt for the fleeing outlaws after corroding off the area.
