KARACHI (Dunya News) - Seven suspected robbers were arrested during police ‘encounters’ in different areas here on Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
Four of them were injured before being arrested. In Shah Latif police jurisdiction, a robber was tracked down in an injured condition after police encounter. He was identified as Sonu.
In Malir, two alleged bandits were nabbed after an exchange of fire with police. One of them sustained injuries before being arrested. They have been identified as Khalid and Amir Akbar. A bike, cash, arms and valuables were recovered from them.
In Jamshaid Quarters, two bandits were arrested. They were identified as Bahadur and Shoaib.
In Korangi, two outlaws were nabbed after a shootout with police. They were injured and later arrested. Arms and stolen goods were recovered from them.
